I have a small server and when ever there's more than two people on it constantly crashes. I've deduced the problem to chunk loading. Its some thing to do with too many chunks being loaded for the server. I'm running in only on 256mb and it ran fine as a vanilla server, it ran fine with the old ftb beta but now with the new mindcrack pack and there's been a lot of development on this map it just crashes. I even installed mystcraft to make it a bit easier on the server as i couldn't even go through a nether portal without it crashing. The servers running on the mindcrack pack v8.2.0 with thaumic bees v1.4.3b and mystcarft v 0.10.0. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Way to little RAM. 256mb, thats some sort of sick joke. Try at least a 1 gig.

Mods = Memory Usage, and a more mods equals more usage.

vanilla servers were a minimum of 512M, i think minecraft updated that to 1G recently.

A modded server i'd say you need a minimum of 2gb. Assuming you want a couple of people of your server and to do some automation.

Edit: You might get away with less on the small mod packs, i was assuming you were looking into ultimate, direwolf20, or minecrack.
