I've been playing FTB Infinity singleplayer on my machine consisting of i5 4690K, GTX970 WF3 and 2x8GB RAM @1600MHz.
My FPS has been somewhere between 40 and 50 on average.
My question is is it worth renting out a server to run the server part of the game on?
They are offering up to 32GB of RAM on a server with E3-1270v2 with 25GB of SSD.
What is the load ratio when running minecraft localy regarding server and client part? Is the given server powerful enough to take on FTB Infinity and would I be able to run client on my computer at mostly consistent 60FPS if I took the burden of server off it's back?
