Heya,

So, I'm in the process of setting up a new server, which I've already started and done a few things on so there has already been some generation.

The issue is, I don't really care for BoP that much, but I know a few people want it...would it be possilbe to leave the Overworld as is with BoP generation disabled, and then create a new world that uses the BoP world generation?

With mods like Twilght Forest/Mystcraft, it's obviously possible for different worlds to have different generation...is it something that can be done on a world config file setting? And if so, anyone know how to do it for BoP?

You could make a mystcraft age with all BoP biomes and use commands to make sure there's no corruption in it

I'd rather not use mystcraft to do it (though if it's the only way I guess I'll have to), I'm thinking more along the lines of using a multiworld creation plugin/portals for the world.

I've managed to "port" an overworld into a mystcraft age. You could probably do something similar - start a new game with BoP worldgen, quit, port that overwold over a mystcraft age in the non-BoP worldgen game.

Just take care that you are in creative mode when you first enter, as you will likely need to carve out a chamber or build a platform around the entry-point.

To be clear, this way of doing it means the world won't have instability etc as it simply won't have those parameters. You're just "exploting" mystcraft's world-creation and teleportation system.

Only issue with this is I would have to leave BoP enabled, which would allow new blocks in the overworld to start generating BoP worldgen (i think).
