Anywho; I REALLY dig the legend oaks that pop up. Using Mystcraft, you can get some insanely sweet landscapes:
I'll be using the Age in the second pic (meadow) for my new home. I have my shop set up in the Overworld, but I'll be building my house and farm in the new Age. It's a combo of Alpine, Lush Redwood, Meadow, Forest Hills and Autumn woods. I used normal sky and fog, normal time and weather with ravines and caves. It turned out stable with no status effects. The landscape is gorgeous. It was hard to pick a spot but the legend oak in that spot is just right.
Ran in to a fairly friendly Zed...at least he's trying:
