Same map, no structures. Server transfer went wrong?

So a friend of mine had to leave during the weekend. And since he hosts our server he sent me the server files for our multiplayer map.
Now I have the server running, we all still have our items and the map is exactly the same. Except that everything we built is gone...
Am I missing something? Did I do something wrong? Did the transfer fail?

Help would be greatly appreciated.
