There have been a few situations where I have thought that the RP2 Managers would be an awesome machine to automate and control some other machines in the amount and frequency of materials they are supplied with.
For example in my processing plant, I want to dump all my scrap into chests and use managers attached to the chests and the mass fabricators to keep the mass fabs filled up without having a bunch of items floating through BC or pneumatic pipes.
In theory that works beautifully. In practice, the redstone signal that the manager gives off when its satisfied turns the machines off. Same for deployers and other similar machines. Is anyone else running in to this issue and am I looking over something simple to work around it? Or are the managers really only meant to service chests?
Just occurred to me as I am writing this that I could probably use buffers from gregtech in between the machines to serve as.. buffers.. but that seems excessive.
So anyone else having the same issues? How are you using your managers on your systems?
Thanks for your input!
