Hi.. me again ^^

I got a question about the Router from Factorisation (Unhinged modpack). What I am trying to do is insert wheat into my fermenters in an even fashion (i tried before using gates and red pipe wire but the first one always gets the lions share). Now my problem is due to having to pipe in water, energy, mulch and wheat as well as pipe out the liquid I have to have them in groups of two.. or at least i think...

So i have pipes going in from the bottom feeding them mulch, water from the front if you will, pumping out the liquid from the back, and then energy in from the side.. so i cant put them side by side.

I thought i could just attach a pipe to the router and it would feed.. but it just takes the wheat and it never arrives. seems to vanish into thin air .

Now I googled the heck out of routers, and they confuse me.. I managed to get them to work when the machines are next to eachother (feeding charcoal into generators) but.. here I am drawing a blank.. I am probably overthinking and staring myself blind on this.. but.. help? please

EDIT: I figured out a way around it... no i didnt :) i put them all in line.. with power on top. water on the side, and extracting the other side.. so one end of the line i put a router to feed in wheat.. works fine.. but putting a second router to feed the mulch doesnt seem to work.. back to figuring i guess

EDIT2: ok.. inseting west seem to have worked for some reason. I dont understand why it isnt insert bottom since i am inserting top for the wheat (comming from the one on the left)

the thing with routers is, if you don't tell them exactly what to do, they'll just shove or pull the items from anywhere it can.
if you input an item in the router, and it disappears and you can't find it, there's a good chance it's been pushed into a machine where it wouldn't even make sense putting it in.
it's best to use the machine upgrade for the router to tell in which machines it should insert/extract from.

next you'll need to tell the router from which side it should insert/extract from. if you're inserting/extracting just 1 time, it'll be fine with just using north/west/south/east directions, but if you're inputting/extracting several items from a machine, it'd best to use the option of telling the router in which number slot it should insert/extract from. it'll take a bit of testing to find out which slot has which number though.

but, if you're trying to input/extract from several slots from a machine with different items, it's best to use more routers to make it all work better, otherwise it may happen that a machine could get clogged up.
you should also consider some other mod options, like the nodes from Extra Utilities or the Transvector Interfaces from Thaumic Tinkerer
