restoring world

i recently was forced to completely wipe my computer and didnt get a chance to backup my files to an online service like dropbox. so if i didnt do anything out of the way to save my world just whatever the game saves is there a way to recover my world? right now what im planning on doing is just going into creative on a new world and cheating for all my stuff back but it would be really nice to just have my world back. plus i dont even remember the seed. any help would be awesome thanks.

oh yeah one more thing is i did lots of beekeeping is there a way to cheat for bees with specific traits? this is obviously only if i cant get my world back
 
Without a backup there is no way to restore your world. As for the bees the only thing I think you can do is cheat in the bees you need then put them through all of the DNA stuff to remove and place the traits you need.
