Restore parts of the map from backup

Hi!

My friends base got griefped pritty hard, and I have backup on file. The problem is that we don't want to face a server wide rollback, is it possible to "extract" his base from an old backup and then use it in the "live" world?

Any help would be greatly apriciated.
