Removing Certain Dusts/Ingots?

This isn't exactly a problem but I am just curious. I am using a slightly modified version of the Direwolf20 1.6.4 pack, and was wondering if there was any way of disabling IndustrialCraft dusts and ingots, so that I only have the thermal expansion ones.

I was thinking of using recipe remover, but that doesn't seem to have been updated.

If anyone has any ideas, they would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Do you want to disable the Dust and Ingot items, or the Ore blocks in worldgen ?

If you really want to disable just the ignot and dusts, try setting these to 0 in config/IC2.cfg:

I've never tried it myself. It might not work, i.e. crash.

You may not like the suggestion, but GregTech has a way to make those IC2 Dusts into any other compatible mod's dusts, including TE3. It's in the Unification configs and is pretty good at what it does, able to convert them in your pockets, machine outputs, and other places to boot. Usually works. I had it beat with AE when I used the grindstone. It could only convert the dusts when I pulled them out of it.

last time I checked dusts and ingots were controlled by what machine was doing the processing, so barring dungeon loot if you only process with TE you will only get TE ingots. You can either convert the ingots using MFR, Mariculture, or jabba barrels or just shove the outliers into a pulverizer for resmelting.

Or use one of many Unification systems. MFR Has one that works great, honestly. I still suggest GT's one because it's free and works automatically.

...Yes MFR Mariculture or JABBA... and mariculture can be set to your ingot of choice, JABBA can be set but requires an ingot to get started.
Also GT unification interferes with some mods like rotarycraft and requires gregtech to be installed.
