I looked up online how to fix corrupted chunks and I found a program called region fixer. Being the guy who doesn't want to screw up the computer, I was wondering if someone was to be very kind and to do it for me. I know, I know, you will say "How in the world will it screw up the computer?" It probably won't and I am aware of that. I just want someone to do this because if I was to do it, it would take me forever, or take an extremely long time. I also have close to no knowledge with running command prompts and stuff like that, that this program requires. All the instructions for the program are on the site. I have the website+ my world save if anyone wants to help :) The world save is MC version 1.7.10 FYI.

By the way, I have a sort of "master back up" of the corrupted world that I dont mess with.

I'm afraid I can't help... Just keep at it and fight, fight, fight!!! Gotta get thru the frustration, however the only way I know of properly fixing corrupted chunks is to roll back to before they got corrupted and don't do whatever borked them again. Corrupted is corrupted I'm afraid, by definition is not recoverable.

So if "corrupted is corrupted", then what does region fixer do?

I can take a look at it, I have fixed one of my worlds with it but I can't promise anything.

Edit: Region fixer didn't find any problems with chunks or regions.
The crash report gave this: java.io.EOFException: Unexpected end of ZLIB input stream which after a quick googling looks like your world is corrupt.

All right that's fine. I started a new world on a different modpack, and I'm keeping the corrupted world just because. Thanks
