Refined Relocation + Storage Drawers

So, playing AgSkies2 and getting to the point where we are needing to sort all the various broken ores sifted from various things into a packager. Now, I happen to notice that you can make Refined Relocation sorting compatible Storage Drawers and the AutoPackager is also RefinedRelocation aware. So the question is, how does one RefinedRelocation the contents of the sorting drawers into the packager into the output to go to the pulverizer?

Haven't done much with RefinedRelocation before, but it looks like this is going to be the most compact and resource-friendly system available to us.

Refined Relocator pipe on the drawer controller, extractor upgrade, and a filter for only the ones you want to pull out. If the ores are named similarly, you can potentially take advantage of the oreDict.

You can't just use the Sorting upgrade for the drawers and have them adjacent to a Storage Drawers Sorting Drawer? Because I can sort and pull out of the controller/slave with a regular itemduct.

It's been several (read, 5-6 months) versions since I've used Refined Relocation, but I'm fairly certain I used a sorting storage drawer that way. If not, just stick a sorting chest next to it, and then you'll have an autosorting drawer system with a buffer, I guess.
But I'll actually test later, I was debating on putting RR in my fiance's and mine's little server thing.

Is there a way to limit the number of items being sorted to a given inventory? For example, can you request only four of a given item in an given inventory at a given time?

Maybe I cannot figure out how Refined Relocation works. Set up a Sorting Chest next to some Storage Drawers who have been upgraded with the Sorting upgrade. Set up a blank blacklist, so theoretically EVERYTHING in the sorting drawers should go over.

Thoroughly confused and frustrated by this mod. Tempted to just say screw it and use conventional if more cumbersome means.

Determined the problem. The version of Refined Relocation that AgSkies2 uses is... very depreciated. Updating RR.

Yes. This is the crossover between Storage Drawers and Refined Relocation. Basically, you can make Storage Drawers upgraded with a Sorting upgrade and they are *SUPPOSED* to act like sorting chests/barrels from RR. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be working like that after all.

I didn't have any problems with that. I pumped straight into the drawer controller. As long as the extraction side is filtered, it should work fine. Unless it's because those are cheaper than controllers.

Have you got a picture of the setup? It might help to visualize what it is you're attempting to do.

Do you have the drawers filled with the items you want in them? Or are you hoping they'll auto fill?

If they are already filled correctly, then having the auto packer output into a sorting chest (with low priority on it) will send the items to the correct drawer.
If you want the drawers to auto fill.... drawer controller is the better bet. Using the sorting drawers will ensure that it doesn't dump into the closest empty drawer like the default behavior

Wanting to pull items OUT of the storage drawers with the Sorter upgrades into the chest.

The chain of command is:

Pulverizer -> Automated Sieve -> Itemduct -> Drawer Controller -> The drawers with the Sorter upgrades that hold the various ore bits.

What I am wanting to do is pull FROM the various drawers (who are all continuous) TO the sorting chest which is adjacent to the packager for packing into the stuff I can actually smelt.
