Hello, what I'm trying to setup isnt relevant to my issue and my issue hopefully has a simple workaround. I simply want a "here or there" setup where items are sent to one place when there the redstone current is on, or sent a different place when the redstone current is off.

The attached image should show what I have and what I want in regards of an on/off switch. The Redstone Conduit coming down points directly into two other Item Conduits which both want to extract from the chest (that i'm standing on.) So when theres power, it gets sent to the left, when there isn't, it gets sent to the right. NOW, the only issue with this... is CHEST UPDATES. When the redstone power is flipped, the items should get sent the other direction. However, the blocks just stay in the chest and don't get extracted. The only solution is to open the chest to update it and make it start extracting once again. I can't open the update the chest every time I want this to work, any fixes? (P.S sorry this is long, just trying to explain my situation)

Thank you.

Is there another inventory you could use - like a storage drawer, or an actually additions crate maybe.

I dont know how I didnt think of that lol! My only issue in the past is that autopackagers don't seem to like to use drawers, and so I was using chests on the sides of the autopackager not drawers or anything. (Maybe if it still won't use drawers i'll pump it from the chest into drawers) Thanks
