There doesn't seem to be much information floating around about how nodes in TC 4 recharge. I'm curious if anyone has found any quirks to it. For example, I have a node with Aer, Ignis, and Perdito, ~60 in each. Earlier I drained it to 1 Perdito, 16 Ignis, and didn't touch the Aer. After about 30 mins, it has recharged to 8 Perdito and 34 Ignis. Do the surroundings/environment affect how fast and which aspects recharge? Or is it just a random distribution?

Environment doesn't seem to have any effect on how fast or which aspects recharge. It just randomly adds to an aspect every regen cycle. How often it regenerates vis depends on the modifier with Bright being the fastest and Pale being the slowest. Fading nodes don't regenerate at all and Unstable nodes can leak vis instead of gaining it.

Well that was very informative, thank you. I figured something like that was going on with the labels, but I haven't seen enough nodes side by side to make a comparison, myself. I think the node I mentioned earlier was pale. I put it underground, and was curious why it seemed to be regaining vis much slower than a nearby outdoor node.

When you moved it from above ground to below ground, did that also move it from a chunk loaded area into a non-chunk loaded area or an area you visit less often ?
