I was wondering if anyone knew the range on say... A jungle bees poison effect?

I wanted to make a breeding hub, similar to the way chemists do their work in a fume hood. The apiaries would be housed inside a glass chamber, outputs will be automatically taken out, items one way, bees into a "control panel". This control panel would just contain chests relating to the input/output of each individual apiary, as well as a couple storage chests. I just wanted to give it this kind of feel for the hell of it and to make breeding dumb bee's, apiarist-suit-less.

It'll also give my base more of a "lab" feel, which is what I'm aiming for. Even my wheat farm is a "hydroponics" facility. I want to keep this hi-tech theme consistent.

Ah, so that range is the range on the effects. I had assumed that to be the case, but to double check...

Thanks ^^.

The same range is used to find flowers, too. Tree pollinating uses the numbers doubled.

Tree breeding. When I get the patience for that shit...

People said that breeding would take a while. You just need a lot of princesses and 10+ apiaries. Got 4-5 stable, fast worker-nocturnal pairs of imperial/industrious bees each in 4-5 hours of breeding. Not bad, considering my first alveary was achieved within 4-5 hours of starting to breed. I'm not sure if that's fast, but it seems thatgetting to radioactive or any other "end-game bee" shouldn't take too long. Lots of right clicking into and out of apiary/beealyzer, but that's about it.
