Ramdom cycle? whats happening

I'm playing with only a few mods.
BiblioCraft, BiomesOPlenty, Botania(unofficial), ironchest, journeymap, Pam's HarvestCraft, StorageDrawers, TConstruct, and Thaumcraft for 1.8.9

I had paused the game by opening my inventory (So I guess not really paused but) and I realized the rain was ranomly flicking on and off and when I closed my inventory to investigate, I looked up and suddenly the day and night started passing incredibly quickly, like, the matter of a few seconds. What mod is doing this and why??

I've now seem to experience twitching. I've gone as far as to unplug my mouse but my character continues to twitch.
 
This has happened to me before what I do is just completely quit Minecraft and load it back up. Sometimes it fixes it but other times it doesn't, so try a couple of times
