Ram and CPU being destroyed

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

I've contacted many people about this, and this is probably my last place ill seek help because I'm not very good with computers and I just want a general idea or solution on the fix before I just send my computer to be "repaired" for 6 days if it even needs that anyways enough rambling.

I'm having this problem which matter of the fact just happened recently on curse forge its called rogue like adventures, I know this isn't FTB so I don't expect a solution i would hope so but even a little advice would help. I have a good computer with over 16gb of ram, I allocate 8100 something mb of ram to minecraft through the setting minecraft on curse forge. I play the pack it runs fine its going all well, until suddenly it starts gradually using more and more ram on my computer going over the 8gb I've allocated until eventually I'm at 98% ram usage, then I reach 98% CPU usage. I just really want some help with this no ones been helping me i just want to know if i have a memory leak and need my computer repaired or if its the program

Sounds like a issue with that pack, try playing another pack for a while to check if you have a similar issue.
