I tested Traincraft the last days and must say that it is a mod funny to look at but nothing to do with it especially when compared to railcraft. Traincraft is buggy (i use Mindcrack) and i am a bit scared when using it because i am worrying about my poor world which could be destroyed.
Don't get me wrong, traincraft is a really funny and good idea but the huge trains don't work as they should, have unrealistic physics and can not be used in big factorys as excellent as railcraft-trains do, which can transport ressources from farms to factorys and so on.

I am thinking about following questions:
  • How will it go on with traincraft and railcraft? : Will traincraft improve and gets debuged and implemented better in the other tech-mods? And what will railcraft add next? New trains like a diesel-lok or a tram as they are in traincraft or at least better ways to unload whole trains (thats still a problem as carts are a bit bigger than one block)?
  • Is traincraft destabilizing other mods when it's huge trains are driving through the world?

Railcraft doesn't have big trains, they only have little carts :C

Traincraft decides to pull that same @$#% that TC3 (configurable, thanks Azanor) does, and doesn't tell you how to make anything. Sure, you could say that "researching and experimentation" is part of the mod, but nobody's going to mess with it if it offers very little in comparison to railcraft. And if they have no idea where to start. Wiki? That takes away the "experimentation", just put it in NEI then.
