Hello,

I have some questions in regards to server configuration. I was wondering if there is a way to run normal minecraft (1.9) along side with ftb? like using a multiverse plugin? is there anyway at all to create a server using normal minecraft (that you can play on) and having another world using ftb?

No, because:
1. No Forge for MC1.9
2. No mods for mC1.9
Mmm, doesn't make this impossible. Lemme explain though.

To OP: This is possible, but is a bit advanced. You would need to setup two servers. One running 1.9, and the other whatever version of modded MC you want. You would then have each running off a different port. For example lets say the IP is 192.168.0.1(yes I know that's local IP. Shut up.). Minecraft 1.9 would be 192.168.0.1:25565. FTB Infinity would be 192.168.0.1:38459. And you would just connect to the one you want to play. Some hosts will let you do this(I know Creeperhost does.) but be aware that you do need a fair amount of hardware resources to do this. At least 8gb RAM in the physical computer, and at least a quadcore. And, ideally, each server running off a seperate hard drive.
