I'm at the point in my game that I have quite the intricate network going on. ME interfaces on almost every machine, etc. I am going to present you with the following scenario in hopes that you will give me the solution.

I have 2 autocrafting recipes for rubber set up. 1 resin = 3 rubber, and 1 rubber wood= 1 rubber , each on seperate blank patterns.

When ever I try to autocraft from my ME terminal it will only use the resin, and once the resin is gone it doesn't register that there is rubberwood there for some reason cause it tells me I am missing resin on my monitor, but neglects to see there is rubberwood.

Is there a way around to fix this, or am I going to be stuck always doing one of them by hand?

Thanks

B

EDIT >>> Doing the same thing for my RE batteries. I have two different kinds of tin, and can make batteries with both, but it isn't recognizing the other.

AE will only use one pattern for making something. Since I didn't have any other use for resin or rubber wood, I just used an export bus to feed the extractor rather than use an interface.

That bites ... especially since many items have more than one recipe

guess I will have to go that route then

I believe you can use TE sawmill to make sticky resin from the rubber wood. Not a guaranteed outcome but you can just process all the rubberwood automatically and only have the sticky resin for your rubber needs.

Thanks for that suggestion. I went with the GregT sawmill. It guarantees a resin, plus i get the pulp for paper and whatnot. :)

I just gotta set up a carpenter to do the paper, which shouldn't be to bad since I already got one of those.
