Me and a couple friends just made a Tier 4 skeleton spawner and I was wondering if there is any way that we can pick it up and move it. I looked for a wiki but I couldn't find one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Portal Gun can move spawners. Alternatively if you right-click a spawner with an empty Soul Shard, you will get the souls back.

wait wait wait can't you just break the spawner cage and you get the shard back...

Yes. This was the first thing I tried when I started playing with soul shards. It bumps down the number of kills on your soul shard to the minimum for its tier (so if you have 1023 in it, you'll get one with 512 back after inserting it into a soul cage and breaking it), but is otherwise lossless.
