Can anyone suggest how I can temporarily fix the issue of the nether quarries not mining all the blocks? Or should I just live with it and wait for the Unleashed Pack to be updated to 1.6.X where there's a fix for this issue?

I have tried resetting the quarry and resetting the nether's height limit, but nothing works.

Some say putting gravel on top of the columns that aren't being mined will force the quarry to detect them and try again. You may have to shut off power and reconnect it to force it to retry the missing areas.

Also, clear off non vanilla blocks like scorched sand, etc., as the quarry does not recognize them.

pouring water over unrecognized blocks will cause the quarry to mine them. In unleashed's nether this can be accomplished by using uu matter to create a source block. Alternatively, adding quarry's plus or removing natura should fix the problem.

if you stop the quarry, place a layer of block on top of the entire quarry frame, then remove it fixes the height map(s). It isn't too hard to do this with a filler.

Alternatively you can add quarryplus to your modpack, quarryplus works just fine in the nether.

Will try both suggestions and will try and get Quarries Plus. But if it doesn't work, I'll probable build an MFFS Mining Rig.

Saw the video for Quarry Plus and HOLY CRAP. Definitely getting this.

Dunno about the above suggestions. I tried flowing water underneath the drill [as in flowing water placed in a corner/along the edges...like normal quarry placement] and that didn't work. Only thing that did work was flooding the entire top layer with water [water sources everywhere under the drill]. That worked but it's a real PITA to cleanup. The problem, as I recall, is due to an incompatibility with Tainted Soil. Tainted Soil is what's causing quarries not to work in the Nether. Perhaps, reading the suggestions posted above, there may also be other factors causing quarries to fail in the Nether.
