What glass is better to use to withstand the random lightning strikes from Thaumcraft: Reinforced or Hardened Glass?

Trying to make a room open to the sky.
 
Wouldn't regular glass do just fine? I've been using it for a long while now, and nothing bad has ever happened.
Although, if I had to choose, I would go with Thaumcraft glass (forgot what it was called) since it just looks sexy imo :P
 
No, regular glass breaks when struck by lightning. Found that out the hard way when all my pigs got turned into Zombie Pigmen after a lightning strike and their pen was shielded by glass.
 
Forgive me for this, but what random lightning strikes? I've never run across this issue
 
Thaumcraft: if the flux is too high, it generates either Wisps or random Weather Anomalies (Lightning).

Had Lightning strike when there wasn't any rain.

As far as I understand it, Thaumcraft lightning isn't actually lightning
It doesn't set things on fire for one.

So I would imagine your glass roof would be ok to have, but you may still get struck by lightning regardless if you're under it or not (It is an anomaly after all)
 
The lightning strikes things regardless of how many layers of shielding you have IIRC
