There is an outdated mod pack on FTB Curse that I cannot play. It disconnects and crashes quite often, other packs work fine. I am trying to recreate it for myself with MultiMC. I am trying to figure out what mods will work with Forge versions, would like to have most updated mod list possible.

Sometimes the game will crash on startup and I can sort of figure out the issue, other times the game loads but the mod is not present. Is there a way I can cross reference with forge versions?

Not sure if needed but I am trying to create a 1.7.10 pack.

Thank you in advanced :)

your best option is to just look up each mod on the FTB master permissions list which has links to all the official mod sites/locations. Most of the mods have a list of downloads if you are using the newest or recommended version of forge for the version of minecraft then any mod with a matching minecraft version should work.

If you need any help, I'd be happy to assist. I've made a few packs and I have a pretty good understanding of which mod versions go with what.

Thank you for your replay!

I ended up doing a trial and error with Forge 1566 and IE 0.7.7 and this works fine. Testing in creative the conveyor belt issue where entities would not go in crusher was resolved :)

I looked at the list you provided but still am not seeing or understanding how to tell what mods will work with what Forge versions?

If you have a minecraft forge version for 1.7.10, if you use a mod version for 1.7.10 then most of the time that's good enough. Just use the Newest or recommended 1.7.10 forge and you should be good.
