So I recently started beekeeping on FTB Crackpack to get yellorium. Since the chance for yellorium comb is 2% I made an alveary to boost it. This is my first time doing beekeeping so I'm having problems figuring out the mehanics of the frames. I've put in 14 frame housings after not geting yellorium more than 20% of the time. By my calculations the chanche should be at 2 * 2^14 = 2^15 = 32768 % which is over 100% obviously. However I am still getting the yellorium comb 20%-30% of the time. So is there a cap to which you can increase the chanche or did I get it wrong how the frames work? Please help.

.02 is the correct way to calculate that. If my math knowledge of years gone by is correct... That's saying its a 200% chance the way you're doing it

No.I'm doing it in percentage. 2% is 0.02 , aka .02 but I'm doing it of the percantage to begin with. So with .02 the result is 327.68 , which is the same as 32768%.The math is correct , the theory isn't I suspect.
And even if that was wrong the chance would still be above 100%

I did already read all of this. I've kinda figured it out now. It seems that after 4 frames there is no longer effect.I'm getting the same results with 4 and 14 frames, so 4 is a cap on crackpack apprently. That brings my chance to 32% , and if i get my bees the fastest gene it will be 54.4 % , which is fine.

I'm no beekeeper, but from what I've read here, the bee that produces Uranium (which is usually oreDict to match Yellorium) will outperform the Yellorium bee. Might be worth a look if it's in your pack.
