Pure bee breeding

What are the exact conditions needed for breeding a pure bee? How big of a pure node? Does it require a specific moon cycle? I know that it is Rejuvenating+Vis bees. I am using ftb unleashed version 1.1.2. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
The apiary/alveary should be at max 5 blocks away from a pure node, the size doesn't matter also it has to be full moon.:)
