Problem Problems installing the FTB app

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Hello Team,
So I can not install the app, right at the beginning of the installation comes a warning message: "The Update Information could not be downloaded from https://apps.modepacks.ch/FTBApp/release.xml Pleas check your network connection." next in the installation comes next "Could not download content files. Do you want to try again?" if you press ok this warning comes back immediately.
My internet connection is perfectly fine, the ClassicLauncher works so far, but it is out of date.

I send also the Errorlogfile

I hope you can help me somehow

Do you have any 3rd party antivirus or other 3rd party security software on your machine?

If yes - make sure to whitelist the process + the url https://apps.modpacks.ch/FTBApp/release.xml

If no - can you provide the full path to where you're trying to install?
(c:\something....)

Hello Grandrolf,
i only use the Windows includet Firewall and Virus security.
The problem begins before you choose the path.
In the Zip you found am Screenmovi that show the Installprozes.
