Hi there, this is my first post on here so bear with me :)

I'm trying to set up a Thaumatorium in Thaumcraft 4.2 for 1.70.10 that mass-produces balanced shards. I'm using sugar cane, cobblestone and charcoal to produce all the necessary aspects and using earth shards as a catalyst. It all works fine and produces a few balance shards before the essentia buffer i'm using to turn potentia into ordo and ignis gets backed up and nothing wants to move. I've attached jars to the pipes and it unclogs, but if I remove the jars and replace the pipes, it get's stuck again.

If the picture has posted, this is my Thaumatorium set up. In the middle is my construct, on the left is the cobblestone furnace, the right is the sugar cane furnace, and behind the construct is the charcoal furnace. The problem I'm having is with the charcoal furnace. I'll post a close-up on the problem area below.

I have an ignis alembic on the bottom, a potentia alembic above that that links to a centrifuge. The forward facing pipe is filtered for ordo and the other is filtered for ignis. The ignis alembic is attached to the same filtered pipe above. All the other pipes from other alembics are fine, but the ones attached to the essentia buffer are not. The buffer gets blocked up with either ignis or ordo (whatever it feels like) after a while of no problems. If I attach jars to those pipes, it unclogs and the jars fill up like they should with the right essentias, but if I remove the jars and reconnect the pipes to the construct, its starts getting blocked again.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong, or does anyone have a better design for a balanced shard farm?

Thanks for any help I get and sorry if I post in the wrong area or anything :)

EDIT: I'll try and add the pictures as a comment because the pictures from photobucket didn't work because I'm completely new to this.

I assume you tried orientateing those what I think are directional essentia pipes? Also are most of those tubes filter tubes? Don't you need to put the filter at the destination? As you want the suction to be strongest by the construct. Then again I wouldn't know as I haven't delt with esseintia tubes past useing them to connect my alchemical construct to my Thaumic energistics essentia provider (and even then I figured you can just whack it directly to the side).
I know... cheap, but when you do your head in trying to figure out pipes you'll start go get it.
