Problem Getting FTB

I have a problem
I am able to get the FTB Launcher, then im able to download the mod pack, but once its downloaded it says "Error Downloading Modpack "
Help please
What could I do?

Someone used firefox and got the downloadthemall add on and then used the report window or comment window on the launcher to get the file address and put that into the firefox webpage address and downloadthemall grabs the URL and then downloads the files for you.

I ended up finding the launcher does in fact work properly but you need to give it time to download and then unpack and places the files then it'll start up minecraft once all done, if you keep at it it'll end up working.

the above will get you the gz zip and you can unpack it yourself but you'd need to unpack into the right dirs etc.
