I cant seem to find an efficient way to power my forestry blocks without having some power loss in the process. I have a power plant of biogas engines connected to a line of redstone conduits that lead to a block of redstone power cells. From there, I use tesseracts to connect to the power plant.

My issue is that whenever a forestry machine is connected to the conduits, they are not smart enough to not drain the power, unlike other MJ powered machines.

Is there anyway I can resolve this with my current setup or do I need to revamp my power plant?

Slap a redstone cell between the destination tesseract and the machine(s) that will draw from it, and run redstone to the cell. You can use that like a master on/off switch. Flip it, and no power will flow out to the machines.

Heck, shift-rightclick on the energy cell with the lever and you can put the switch on it directly :)

That seems to work, but I am wondering if there is anyway I can use gates and such so that it can be automated in the future.
