Please help I have a problem.

I was playing normally but kept getting some lag spikes so I decided to relog. When I opened the launcher it asked if I wanted to update. I put no but then FTB just closed so I eventually hit yes and checked backup config (Whatever that does) and disabled greg tech like I always do, but when I logged in my worlds were gone! Is there a way I can get them back somehow? With the config I backed up or what? If there's a solution please reply, I worked really hard on my world.

try down grading to the last version ie if its 6 try 5, if that dont work sry but you are screwed.

moral of the story back up worlds ever couple of days.

make sure you clicked the right mod pack as each mod pack has there own folders = own saves

I had only played for like 3 days on that world but I had a shit ton of resources and a base but only basic IC2 machines and Thermal Expansion, right away I made a new world and rebuilt my base and restored my resources/items etc. to the best of my memory so it turned out OK but yeah both times it was the Ultimate pack. Thx for the replies anyway.

At least you learn one lesson backups save the day (goes to back up my worlds).
