Please help, “not responding” slowish FPS stutters

My ftb runs at like 60 fps but stutters every now and then, but sometimes it just does not want to work at all. I got it running decent today so I downloaded sphax and I went to click on it in the launcher and i pressed done and it did nothing, then it stopped responding. Now when I try to load the pack (infinity evolved) it takes forever and a day. Finally I got it to get to the main menu without crashing and then I clicked single player and it stopped responding.


My specs are

8gb ddr4

Gtx 1060

Asrock b250m pro4

intel core i5 7500

Please help!!!
