Pixelmon mod with...

Is it possible to install pixelmon mod using the ftb launcher? I installed lite (random pick) and tried extracting the mod into the Lite folder but it only comes up with an error. Is it possible to do this? because forge does not work on my pc unless it is tekkit or ftb (no idea why)

You don't extract the zip files. All you need to do is click on the mod pack you want to play, click "edit mod pack", find your pixelmon zip (do not extract) and click on the ok button, then start playing.

Just be warned you cant use pixelmon if you have NEI. it causes issue's

Hate to Necro an old thread. But been trying to get Pixelmon to work with the FTB launcher as well. I've tried it with the Vanilla pack under 3rd party mod packs and it doesn't seem to appear, in fact no mods do.

Using Pixelmon-1.7.10-3.2.3
And the vanilla pack is set to the same version (1.7.10)

Any assistance or clarification on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to go from the start here because we don't have much to work with... You DO have forge installed, right?

Edit: thanks qaz, I read that as vanilla instead of the vanilla pack for some reason. Yeah, you should install forge first.

No he does not. The "vannila pack" iirc does not come with forge.
