What is the bug? when placing a piston in the world. then open your inventory and click on the empty space where the pistton was you get an extra piston.

Is it repeatable? take piston . slot 5 . place piston in the world. open inventory
click on empty slot 5 en get 1 extra piston.

Can confirm, have the same bug occuring in my world

Confirmed duplication bug still present in 1.2.1.

Bug reliably duplicates regular pistons AND sticky pistons whenever broken. Does not seem to matter which tool is used to break the piston. Tested with a vanilla iron pick, a Tinker's pick, Actually Additions drill, and bare hands.

I can confirm that the bug is still active in versions 1.3.2 through to 1.4.1.
