I'm using Sphax 128x for my FTB Ultimate installation, and I downloaded a patch for it that covered a variety of mods. It worked, but it left out some small mods (like Steve's Carts) that I also want patched. I went to the patch index page on the Sphax website and downloaded the appropriate patch for each individual mod, and I used WinRAR to drag and drop the files into the main Sphax folder. For some reason, this isn't working; all of the textures that I tried to patch were still the default 16x. Am I missing a step or something?

Yeah you forgot to hit Del key to get rid of that ugly texturepack :D

Seriously though -- did you switch out of Sphax to default, then switch back to Sphax? Might be the old textures are just cached.

Only thing I can think of is if the mod versions dont match up. For example, using an outdate download for the patches for a more up to date mod.

When it comes to Sphax textures you are at the mercy of those completing the textures for Each Mod.
There's a few ways you can go about it. Installing Sphax base textures.
One: Install Only Sphax Vanilla Textures and suffer the pixilated versions of the Mods added to Minecraft through FTB.
Two: Install FTB Pack Sphax for the Pack you are using. http://bdcraft.net/forums/purebdcraft-mods/mod-support-patches-mod-packs
Three: Mix and Match. Alter packs from the WIP (Work In Progress!!!) patches that Sphax's Fan's are working on atm.....

Four: Use something like Paint.net to alter and make your own Sphax like textures.

I've had no problem finding the appropriate texture patches and whatnot, my only problem is getting them to show up in-game. I put them into the Sphax zip folder but they don't seem to appear.
