Summary of the problem Painting cobble to look like Demon Steel block crashes

What is the bug? I'm painting cobblestone in the Ender IO Painting Machine to look like other blocks to use as building blocks in my base. Made a Demon Steel block, and when it finished painting 1 piece of cobble, the pack crashed all the way back to the launcher. Originally happened on a MPS, but I tried in a creative test world single player and it happened there as well. I can log back on to the server, but I can't access the painting machine.
