Offline Mode not supported?

I have not had to worry about this in ?years? but in the past when Mojang went belly up, I was able to turn off online-mode and be fine. Is that not supported anymore (by Mojang or FTB)?
And I am aware of the issues running offline - I am behind a firewall, running locally LAN ;)
 
You only have to have launched ftb once and logged into your minecraft acoount for you to be able to do offline mode. Obviously if you want to play on another system you will have to login from there as well.
