I am thinking about crafting the osmotic enchanter I discovered through research a week ago. However, that beast requires obsidian totems for which there is no NEI recipe to craft. Obsidian tiles are, on the other hand, crafted using three blocks of obsidian. Searching on Google yields results about Thaumcraft 3 totems needed to move aura nodes. Are TC4 totems something we need to research? Or are these totems uncraftable, required to be found in dungeons or randomly generated biomes? That will take me an awfully long time to find 12 blocks of these if I have to explore biomes with less than 10% chance of having one in the biome and even less chance for me to see it! Well, that might explain why Direwolf20 didn't craft this enchanter in his let's play series. I am also worried about the "dangerous" infusion needed to get the device. Giving all this, it is probably less expensive to build an auto-enchanter+mob essence farm+filing cabinet+some automation system to get tons of enchanted books and pick and choose books or use infusion enchantment I didn't manage to get through research yet but I know exists.
