Windows .exe Not working...

Whenever I open the FTB launcher it asks me to update, I do what I normally do because I play on a Mindcrack server with V6 by exiting the notification asking me to update. I have the launcher at 1.2.0; however, after I exit the notification asking me to update my launcher just freezes. I've tried tons of things deleting every file and then re-installing, re-setting my computer, and I even downloaded the newest version of java just to see if that was the problem. I tried downloading other modpacks such as Magic World and it worked just fine, if you have any ideas I could use or have answers please post them here.

Posting a logfile will allow other peaple to check and see what going wrong and help you. With the above problem description itself people can only make guesses to where the problemen lays
