Nonsense Server jitteriness

So... I play on my own FTB Unleashed server, with 8GB allocated to the game and 6GB allocated to the server (I have a total of 16GB on my pc). FPS is always around 30-50. But even when there is only me in the server it is very jittery and laggy, my movement stutters continuosly. It doesn't make any sense to me, FPS is good, a ton of memory is allocated, it is on the same pc so should be very little lag.... Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone knows how I could possibly fix that? It's getting REALLY annoying...

Don't play on the computer running the server, it's not the same as single player open to lan

Also, you don't want to allocate more than 5 GB to the client. There is little-to-no positive effect for doing so. More often than not you'll see negative performance changes.

Edit: also more memory does not equal better performance.
