No attuned bees in inF?

Hi i have been doing research and i cannot figure out how to (if i can) get attuned bees on infinity
thanks -aj
 
Attuned bees are spawned in Deep Hives that spawn in rock down at lvl 10-20 of biomes that are categorized as Hills, Mountains or Magical I believe. In general your best shot would be to go mine in something like one of the Thaumcraft biomes.
 
that would be true but there is no block called a deep hive and i have looked for it in nei and the world

Not all the hives show up in NEI. In 1.6 only 3 MB hives are registered in NEI.
And if you are not mining in the right biomes you can look forever without finding one. Also they are not that common. You might have to clear out several chunks from lvl 10-20 before finding one.
