New server section, problem?

Okay so, previously, when servers were threaded in the old section I could easily post asking to look for a friend or two to play with casually. Just accept 1 or 2 and be done. The new server area doesn't seem to friendly to that.

Is it possible to do that in the new server area or is there a better place to ask that?

Several of those sorts of posts have appeared on this board. Just yesterday someone was looking for a few friends to play with.

But I'm not a moderator and cannot speak to their wishes.

Edit: actually it looks like most people are posting in the general chat rather than the general FTB chat.
