so i understand how to regenerate the nether, but i cant seem to move my backup into the saves file without it wanting me to skip or delete some files within the backup or save. someone pls lemme know how load a backup of aworld even if you still have the OG world. thanks

If you want to replace your save/world or just a dimension with something from a backup then you should first remove the old folder.

And of course not do this while the Minecraft server is running.

If you're unsure of the outcome - make sure to create a manual backup of your current world, in case you get it wrong and need to start over.
