Nether Issue

Is there any reason to why everytime I enter the nether I lagg like crazy? I even have a chunk loader and It still does not allow me to move. Any way to fix this? I dont lagg in the main world just nether. Havent tried twilight yet so

You're going to have to be more precise than that. I've seen people invent more definitions for "lag" than there's packs on the FTB launcher, almost all of which ended up not being lag at all.

For example, if you simply get stuck in the floor, then that's a (vanilla) bug, not lag. Try digging one block down around the portal so that the portal frame sits on top of the netherrack instead of being flush with it.

What I mean by lagg is as soon as i enter the portal and spawn on the other side i experience lagg and then my screen starts freezing which to the point i cant even do a single thing. My portal is not in the ground its above Im not even able to move from my portal due to the massive amounts of lagg & screen freezing.

Dont really know any other way of explaining to why I cant do a single thing in the nether. as soon as i enter a few seconds after I keep getting lagg like you would with block lagg but Im on single player.

In that case, make a new test world, spawn in some obsidian for a portal and go straight to the nether. See if the issue is present there too. If not, it's probably an issue with your world.

If the issue persists, make a backup of your world somewhere, then completely delete the modpack. Let the launcher redownload it, and re-add your backed up world to the new install. Then try again.

If that doesn't fix it, go to the tech support section on the forums here, and be prepared to provide various logfiles from your client and launcher.

It seems to be the world I was surrounded by alot of fire the place was pretty destroyed so gonna copy my world and delete pack. Hopefully it will fix it.

and readding my map seemed to not fix it so im just gonna make a new world. i wasnt to far into the map was up to making lava power.

Well, you click "yes" if you want to continue loading, and "no" if you don't.

What about your pc specs it could be your pc is getting the lagg from masses amounts of lava, I know people who can't enter the nether due to the lagg
