NEI Crashes My Minecraft

Whenever I try to type in the NEI search box, it crashes.

This only started happening while I was in the middle of caving. How do I fix this?

My crash report is attached.

Try renaming /minecraft/saves/NEI.dat and /minecraft/saves/NEI to /minecraft/saves/NEI_broken.dat and /minecraft/saves/NEI_broken, respectively, to reset NEI-related matters.

((You can delete them afterward if it fixes things.))

Go to your ftb folder, then to your current modpack folder (ultimate or whatever), go to the saves folder, and delete the NEI folder.

Also, learn better google-fu. Had this the other day, only took 2 minutes to find the answer.
