so i am way over my head with this, i have something like 169 mods that i want to make into my own litle private mod pack. i have two old dell r710 servers, one my 11 year old is running mineordie.com vanilla server off of, and the other i am going to run my server Nifflercraft.com from.

I dont have the time required to invest into setting up the modpack, but should have enough to keep it going once one is built, and my 11 year old can help with the plugins. So to make a long story short i am in need of someone that would like to put my modpack together for me, from what i have read about the mods i want to use. the mod creaters have given permissions to make modpacks with them.

I would use a premade pack, but all the packs i have seen have too many mods i do not want in my pack, as i want a more techy pack with gregtech in it.

If anyone can help or at least point me to a few people that might be willing to help it would be nice

Thanks, Niffler13

If you don't like existing packs because they have too many mods, you can use that as a starting point, and delete all the mods you don't want.

i understand that that is the normal responce to this question, but when you remove tinkers, thaumcraft, then add all the techy mods like gregtech back in that i might as well start from scratch.
At this point i am getting ready to pay a good modpack maker to make one for me.

That, is not a small modpack, by any stretch. And alot of mods are actually superfluous, since they overlap horribly. If you want to cut down on clutter and lag, try cutting some of the mods out.
Here's what i'd remove: Backpacks(Forestry and others have them), Archimedes ships(broken and laggy as hell), Buildcraft(It has nothing of benefit in it), Compact Solars(Waste of materials and not as good as advanced solars), Dragon Mounts(see archimedes ships, all mounts are laggy), Enchantingplus(Not needed, at all), enhanced portals(Use mystcraft portals, they dont use energy), factorisation(anything it does, everything else does better), Generators? (extra utilities adds loads), Logistics pipes (use AE2, it has an early game now), Mekanism (stick to this or TE and EnderIO, no need to have so many mods that do the same thing)... You have power converters, you don't need 3 solar mods, you can convert all energy types. Infact I can't be bothered going through them all, some of them are just words, not mod names, and others I havent a clue what they do.

If you want a smaller mod pack, don't pick so many mods. :p
