Need to force unbind Left ALT key

Hello, I use my left alt key as a push to talk button but whenever I press it while in game it sort of freezes the game and brings a cursor up. The windows file menu in the upper left doesn't open so I don't think its that. Is there a way to force the alt key to serve no function in FTB or am I SOL? On a side note yes I made sure alt wasn't bound to anything in-game, and I dont have this issue in vanilla. Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately I don't think there's any way of doing this. You could submit a bug report to mojang though and maybe they'll make it so you can disable this in a future patch.
