I have been using a great mob spawner designed by Monkeyfarm. Here is a tutorial for it.

It uses pistons and water to control the mobs. I want to make it with dispensers and using a button to activate it.

There is a bit of a delay problem i think. The dispensers are about 30-80 blocks from the button. I really don't know much about redstone, but I think there is some kind of signal degradation going on. If I use the button the dispensers do not activate. If I use a lever, and leave it on for 5-10 seconds, the dispensers work.

I am hoping someone can suggest something I can put into the circuit that will allow the signal from a button press to last about 10 seconds.

Thank you in advance for any help you all can provide.

Two things you're looking for, Jacketed wire, I think red alloy wire also works, but those don't seem to have signal degredation from my knowledge

The other is called a state cell (I think you can also use another circuit but the name escapes me), depending on how you wire it, you can use it to extend a pulse for however long you set it in the GUI, or you can use it to delay a pulse for the same amount of time.
