Need more ram to ftb

Ok i need help with aloud more ram to FTB i aam useing a 8 gb ram and the game is using 1 gb and i would to use 2 gb pla help

You need to get rid of 32 bit Java and get 64 bit Java.

As for the RAM, I doubt you need more than 2 gig. It depends from pc to pc, but usually it's between 1-2 gig RAM. Above will not make the gameplay any better.
I don't know how the FTB launcher works, never touched nor seen it, but I suppose they have an options button where you can customise how much RAM you want to give it.

I disagree, I've noticed that any change in my gaming experience ceases above 3.5-4 GB

I have been experiencing crashes with up to 5GB allocated RAM. I now got it set to 10GB allocated and haven't had any problems at all.
