So i have a world on my laptop (mac) that i've put a lot of time into and own a faster and more upgraded desktop (also a mac) that i'd like to transfer the map over to, to avoid lag and any other issues like crashes and what not. I was wondering if any of you intelligent mindcrafters could help me out on how to access that map in file form, email it to myself or put it onto a thumb drive and put it into my desktop and play on it. I will be using the same mod pack on my desktop as my laptop, so there isn't any complicated issues involving losing certain mods or any of that. If you have the solution but for PC only i'd love to hear it, I'm sure i can figure out converting it.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. :)

In your minecraft folder its in the saves folder.

Using the FTB launcher:
Click Edit Mod Pack
Click Open Folder
Go up one directory
Under saves there will be your world

Copy that and then reinstall minecraft/FTB, start it up and open a world to make sure. Paste the world folder from your laptop into the above saves folder. Run minecraft and it should be there.

Down and dirty way to do it.
